Yoggie Management Server

The Yoggie Management Server(YMS) provides centralized management and monitoring of the Yoggie Gatekeepers in the field. It extends the IT organization’s ability to effectively manage and enforce security on to traveling laptops. The YMS is a Pentium IV-based appliance installed in the IT communication room or cabinet. It provides security policy updates, signatures, and rule base updates, while obtaining local logs and events from the traveling Yoggie Gatekeepers. YMS’ intuitive browser-based interface offers centralized configuration of all the YPSG security components including, Firewall rules, white/black lists, security level thresholds, VPN configurations, proxy scanners’ rules and IDS/IPS configuration. Any change in the security policy can be immediate enforced through remote communications.

Comprehensive centralized activity reports can be generated based on logs that are constantly collected from the Gatekeepers. In addition, an intuitive dashboard interface displays their security status and provides immediate alerts.

Health Monitoring Engine

YMS includes a proprietary technology that calculates the risk level for every Yoggie Gatekeeper and provides a “Current Risk Level Indicator” (CRLI). The CRLI is a number between 1 – 100 that represents the risk level associated with the current web activity (e.g. e-mail, IM, web ftp, etc.). The risk level takes into account the number of attacks as well as attempts, expressed in suspicious behavior that is not in line with expected content. The CRLI calculation is defined by a rule base that can be updated and configured.
